Deleting providers

This explains how you can delete providers from your reports so that your overview only shows the companies that are relevant to you.

Why do I see providers in my evaluation list?

It happens occasionally that providers crawl your website, companies have high security requirements when forwardind theirown IP or someone with a “Home Office” connection whose provider is being recognized as a Company.
Here is an explanation of how you can partially automate the hiding of the provider.

How do I hide my providers in the company overview?

  1. Automatically filter providers
  2. Mark provider as “uninteresting”
  3. Hide entries marked as “uninteresting”

Automatically filter providers

In order not to have to search for and individually mark all providers tracked so far, a filter can be created that only shows the providers. These can then be marked at once with just a few clicks.
The following steps are necessary for this:

  1. You create a filter that filters by company name and select the option “contains” and then click on the symbol for CSV import.
  2. Now you can use “Copy & Paste” to import a list of providers (max 300 entries) and then click on the blue checkmark for “Apply”. So-called chips are created (entries with a gray background)
  3. Choose Save and Apply.

Here you can download a sample list of current provider names.

Mark provider as “uninteresting”

Now you only need to mark all companies in the company overview at the same time and assign the desired mark.

Hide entries marked as “uninteresting”

Entries can be hidden in LeadLab with filters. The easiest way to do this is with markings. To do this, create a new filter, set it to “ Exclude “and choose the Filter rule marking = provider .

Exclude companies marked = provider

If you save and apply this filter, all entries that have been marked Provider will be hidden. More about markings.

It is not intended to use the filter that filters directly provider names continuously. That would slow down the processing of the data in LeadLab enormously! The markings are intended precisely for such an application!
