All information relating to the technical settings of the computer or a browser can be found under the Technology category. The Technology category contains the following statistics: Browsers, Operating Systems, Color Depth, Resolutions, Mobile Visits, Mobile Operating Systems and Devices
Browser
The Browser statistics list all recognized browser types, including the version number, which were recognized when your tracked website was accessed.
Operating systems
Here you can see the operating systems used by your website visitors that have been recognized by LeadLab. (e.g. Windows, Linux, MacOS etc.) This can be helpful if you want to know what type of operating system your prospects primarily use.
Color depth
The color depth indicates the color depth the user was set to when they accessed your website. The information about the color depth will only be helpful for optimizing your website in a few cases. If, for example, you track many visitors with a color depth of 0, this could be an indication that many calls were triggered by bots or crawlers.
Resolution
Here you can see the screen resolution with which users are accessing your website. This information can be helpful, for example, if you want to check whether your website is more likely to be accessed with smaller or larger resolutions. If your site is not yet responsive, but your visitors mainly have small resolutions, it could be a good strategy to adapt the website display accordingly.
Mobile visits
The “Mobile visits” statistic shows numerically how many visitors were on your website with mobile devices in the respective period. The subdivision is made here according to the size of the website display. As soon as the display size is within the usual range for cell phones or tablets, a visitor is considered a mobile visitor.
Mobile operating systems
All operating systems used by mobile visitors can be displayed here. (Examples: Chrome Mobile, Safari mobile, LinkedIn App, Mobile Samsung Browser)
Devices
The “Devices” overview shows which technical devices in the sense of product names your visitors use to access your website. (Example: Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi
Huawei) .
